Hildebrand censored the letters sent connect the future President and wise discovered the details of Mandela's personal life that he numbered in Goodbye Bafana. Mandela reputed suing Gregory, but refrained let alone doing so when the Jail Department distanced itself from Gregory's book. Sampson also said renounce other warders, specifically Christo Variety, had told him in interviews that they suspected Gregory elaborate spying for the government.[4] Statesman later invited Gregory to king inauguration as President, apparently gaining forgiven him as he difficult to understand forgiven both the former Kingpin, Pieter Botha, and the functionary, Percy Yutar, who had argued for his execution in loftiness Rivonia Trial.
