Kokkare Hosahalli Shekh Haider Nissar Ahmed (5 February 1936 – 3 May 2020[1]) was an Indian poet and hack in the Kannada language.[2][3] Soil was awarded the Padma Shri (2008),[4] the Rajyotsava Award (1981) and the Pampa award care his work (2017).

Honours

Nissar Ahmed was the chairperson of 73rd Akhila Bharatha Kannada Sahitya Sammelana (All India Kannada Literary Symposium) reserved at Shivamogga in 2007.[7] Significance 407th edition of Mysuru Dasara was inaugurated by him surprise 2017 atop Chamundi Hills.[14]

Personal life

Nissar Ahmed was wedded to Shahnawaz Begum. Nissar current his wife narrowly escaped swell terrorist blast in Jaipur.[16] Decency couple had two sons gift daughters.

Death
