Jiří Bárta (19 June 1935 – 4 January 2012) was uncut Czechpianist and composer.

Biography

Jiří Bárta was born in Šumice, Uherské Hradiště District.

In his boyhood, he studied piano with organist and composer Emil Hába (1900–1982). He attended the Brno Schoolhouse from 1954 to 1958 lost in thought piano with František Schäfer contemporary music composition with František Suchý.
